Paul Londynsky is Vice President of Safety, Quality & Environmental Affairs and Chief Security Officer for Matson Navigation Company, Inc. In this capacity, Capt. Londynsky manages security, safety and environmental programs for all vessels, offices and terminal facilities of Matson Navigation and its subsidiaries. He is also responsible for Crisis Management and Emergency Response programs, as well as Corporate Security matters. Capt. Londynsky acts as Company Security Officer, Designated Person for Matson's ISM-compliant Safety Management System, Management Representative for the company's ISO-9001 and 14001 programs, and as the company's Qualified Individual for Oil Spill Response (QI) for the States of California, Hawaii and Washington.

Capt. Londynsky holds the fourth issue of his USCG Master's License, and is a member of the Bar in both the State of California and the District of Columbia. A Captain in the U.S. Naval Reserve, Paul is a 1980 graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, NY, and a 1989 Graduate of the Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, CA. He also currently serves as a member of the Northern California Area Maritime Security Committee, as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Defense Transportation Association SF Bay Chapter, and a member of the California Maritime Academy Extended Learning Board of Directors.

Since graduating from Kings Point, Capt. Londynsky has served both in shipboard and shore side capacities for several U.S. flag shipping companies, including Marine Transport Lines, Sea-Land Service, United States Lines, American President Lines, Navieras de Puerto Rico, Lykes Lines, Delta Steamship Lines and Matson Navigation Company.

Over the last nine years, Paul created the ISM/SQE-compliant Safety Management System for Matson's vessels, the ISO-9001 Quality Management System for the company's terminals and the Phoenix Customer Support Center, and the company's ISO-14001 Environmental Management System.

Paul and his wife Bethann have three children, Jonathan (18), Laurenann (15) and Samantha (9). Paul is currently based out of Matson's Oakland Headquarters office.
