Michael F. Wilson is IBM's Global Marketing Executive for Homeland Security. Mike has deep expertise in the area of Maritime Homeland Security based on his career with the U.S. Coast Guard. Currently a Commander in the Coast Guard Reserve, Mike has completed assignments in nearly every region of the country, most recently directing port security efforts in New York following 9/11. The global nature of Mike's job also gives him noteworthy insight into government homeland security initiatives in Europe and Asia.

Mike has earned an undergraduate degree from the United States Coast Guard Academy and an MBA from Rice University. He has been with IBM since 2000.
